MINI FIRE ENGINES
MINI FIRE ENGINES
1980's Hand Built Mini - Fire Engines were originally built and used by the Kent Firefighters Foundation, Kent Fire Department and later Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority for fundraisers and Public Education. Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority donated the Mini Fire Engines to the Zone 3 Fire Cadets knowing how our Cadet programs are very involved within the communities and would be able to properly and effectively utilize the Mini Fire Engines within the local communities for public outreach, public education, demonstration, entertainment, fund raising and more. The Mini Fire Engines, Mini Bunker Gear, Mini Wildfire Gear and equipment that we have been able to bring together, allows children of all ages to have lots of fun, build memories and possibly ignite the fire within them and spur their personal goal of becoming a Firefighter.
Primary Role of the Mini Fire Engines is to provide children with opportunities to have fun and to allow their imaginations to run free as they "drive" the Mini Fire Engine and pretend being a Firefighter. The Mini Fire Engines are "dispatchable" locally to be utilized to benefit the local community. With the two (2) Mini Fire Engines, we can teach and have fun with the general public, schools and community events, parades, Open Houses, Touch-A-Truck days and much more, as seen in the pictures.
