The Zone 3 Fire Cadets, formerly the Zone 3 Fire Explorers as of 2/1/2020, is very active all over the South King County by providing support to area Governmental offices and programs, Community and Non-profit programs and events. And, when the need arises, we assist area Fire agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies, Emergency Management Offices, King County C.E.R.T. programs, area schools, and so much more. The Zone 3 Fire Cadets are available and on call 24/7/365 to be dispatched from Valley Communications, our area 911 Communications Center, for REHAB Response, Man power, Wildfires, Wildland Urban Interface Brush Fires, and more.
Below you will find a small sampling of news articles, website and social media posts of events, programs or fire responses which we have assisted or participated in. These are organized by publishing media agency or other entity who published the article(s). A gallery of Photos and videos will soon to be published on a separate Gallery page.
*If you are a past Explorer(s), family member of a past Explorer(s) or current Cadet, past or current First Responder, Area Media Journalist or Private Stringer or we have supported your office, organization, program or event and you may have some additional stories, pictures, news clippings, etc. saved away somewhere, please contact us If you would like to share them with us.
